203 MINORS. United States of Elmerica. City Court of New Britain, within and for the City of New Britain, in the County of Hartford and State of Connecticut. APPLICATION OF albut Sherman To be Admitted a Citizen of the United States of America. By occupation butcher albut Sherman being duly sworn, deposes and says, that he is the above-named applicant for admission as a Citizen of the United States of America; that he was born in Russia on or about the 9th day of thousand eight hundred and eighly July in the year one and emigrated to the United States, landing at the Port of new York in the State of new York on or about the 6th day of January A. D. 1897 and that he now resides at No. 107 Harlful Street, in New Britain that he has arrived at the age of twenty-one years; that he has resided continuously within the United States since January 6th 1897, and continuously within the State of Connecticut since January 20 I 897 Applicant further deposes and says, that he does not disbelieve in nor is he opposed to all organized government, nor is he a member of or affiliated with any organization entertaining or teaching such disbelief in or opposition to all organized government, nor does he advocate or teach the duty, necessity, or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the Governmet of the United States or of any other organized government, because of his or their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to regulate the Immigration of Aliens into the United States," approved March 3, 1903. DOT 2 8 1904 Sworn to before me, this day of 19 albut Sherman Applicant. Clerk. Luke 2 Reynold Street, being duly sworn, deposes and says, that he resides at No. 324 in new Brink State of Connecticut, and is by occupation a halesman that he is a citizen of the United States of America, and personally acquainted with the above-named applicant for admission to citizenship of the said United States, and has known him for the past seven years, to wit, from present truel spring I 597 to 1 , that his occupation is that of and that he resides at No Hanfand an Street, in has Bria that he personally knows that the applicant has resided continuously within the limits and under the jurisdiction of the United States of America since spring 1897, and continuously within the State of Connecticut since spring I 597 That he believes when he came to the United States to reside he was under the age of eighteen years, and that during the said time of his residence within the United States and within the State, he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. That in so far as he knows, is informed, or believes, the applicant does not disbelieve in nor is he opposed to all organized goverment, nor is he a member of or affiliated with any organization entertaining or teaching such disbelief in or opposition to all organ- ized government, nor does he advocate or teach the duty, necessity, or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the Government of the United States or of any other organized government, because of his or their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to regulate the Immigration of Aliens into the United States, approved March 3, 1903. 9QT 2 8 1904 Sworn to before me, this .day of. 19. bhance Milete Luke Witness.
