D. 18 82, being a Court of Record with on common intention Law to become Jurisdiction, a citizen a of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and and particularly fidelity to ever Victoria, to every Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, William I. Emperor Germany appears. And the said applicant now here in this Court, and fidelity declares to as by the Record of said absolutely court and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance particularly to Victoria, every Queen Foreign of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, on oath, that he Prince, doth Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, William and I. Emperor of Germany of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of America. Wherefore. the said applicant is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared to be a citizen of the United States of America. Clerk.
