463 STATE, OF CONNECTICUT, Disbuit SS. OFTY OF BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 13 District day of October District A. 1883, before the City Court. D. within and for said Qity, having Common Law jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, personally appeared, William can of deletified county English Woodbury who was born in England aged about 39 years, and on oath did declare that it was BONA FIDE his inten- tion to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Brit- ain and Ireland, to William I. Emperor of Germany of whom he is now a subject. Clerk.
