BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 22 day of

Delober Destrict A. D. 188 3, before the City Court,
within and for said City, having Common Law jurisdiction,
with a Clerk and a Seal, personally appeared,
Louis Valentune
of
Walebing
who was born in Canada aged about 23
years, and on oath did declare that it was BONA FIDE his inten-
tion to become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES,
and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and
Sovereignty, whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Brit-
ain and Ireland, to William T. Emperor of Germany
strieth
of whom he is now a subject.
