D. 188 BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 17 day of colober in said year, valenture of Walabing in the County of New Harm Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk appeared and a before Seal, and said made Court, application the same to being the said a Court Court, of Record, become with a citizen common of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to ap- to and this Court having found to their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a free, white Great male pear, of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of person Britain and Ireland, of William I. Emperor of Germany that he is now of the age of 34 years that he was born in bunada in said Kingdom ; that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years than last past, last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good United citizen, States, a good and and in said State of Connecticut and within the Jurisdiction of this Court for more has one year moral character, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the that well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. It also appearing to this of Court, eighteen said arrived in the United States of America before attaining to the age oath de- applicant and that he has continued to reside therein thence hitherto-and he now here to on become years, clares citizen that of for the three United years States, last past, and it has to been renounce and now all is BONA allegiance FIDE his and intention fidelity forever to a Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly of to every Victoria, Foreign Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, William I. Emperor Germany And the said applicant now here in this Court, declares on oath, that he doth absolutely Potentate, and entirely State and renounce Sovereignty and abjure whatever, all and allegiance particularly and fidelity to Victoria, to every Queen Foreign of the Prince, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, William I. Emperor of Germany of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of America. Wherefore. the said applicant is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared to be a citizen of the United States of America. Deliabities Clerk.
