BE it Remembered, That Charles Jaegan
of Men London

New Lousine
but late of the Kingdom of

the Clerk of the Superior Court for said County of
New London, at New London
in said County, on the

of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and seventy eight tie said Court being a
Court of Record, having Common Lawjurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal, and declared
on oath that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and
to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State,
or Sovereignty, whatever, and particularly to the Government of Prescia
