575 198 At a Superior Come holden at new yevelen in and for the County of New London, in the State of Connecticut, on the H Tuesday of august in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty- 6 PRESENT-Hon. gnen P1 Walelo JUDGE. Me it Remembered, That on the 3 day of bectobre in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty- 6 Jerry they of in said County of New London, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Henythay then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before the cluss of the City courty the city f new in Jair S state in the 4" day September and we 1834 in as on file, and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish a uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th April, 1802. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the said thay Deniy has resided within the United States five years át least, and in the State of Conneoticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said Jerry shay having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sove- reignty whatever, and particularly to victoria Imm of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was, therefore, considered by the Court, that hereby is accordingly admitted to become a citizen of the UNITED STATES. Deny thay be, and John And Brewn Jhh Dist return
