18 (362) At a Suheun Court holden at newLown in and for the County of in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty- Still New London, in the State of Connecticut, on the Lt a Tuesday of aught PRESENT-Hon. frent. Walers JUDGE. me it Remembered, That on the fust day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty- Six Inlicto now of nimite in said County of New London, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Which Row then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before the City court for the city minim no the 30 ts day of actober ac 1852 as on file, and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled An Act to establish a uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th April, 1802. And it appearing the satisfaction of the Court that the said which to now has resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said which now having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sove- reignty whatever, of Hickloburgh and particularly to ling Fundary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Irefand, of whom he was before a subject. It was, therefore, considered by the Court, that Which Row be, and hereby is accordingly admitted to become a citizen of the UNITED STATES. Witneps christopher P.W.
