2 343 At a Luherin holden at newLesiston in and for the County of New London, in the State of Connecticut, on the 4th Tuesday of august in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty- his PRESENT-Hon. know P, Waldo JUDGE. it Remembered, That on the 2800 day of august in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty- his dening Sander of in said County of New London, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said Henry Sunder then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before the City coursfulle City of new formal hr the sh day of December as 31853 as on file, and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish a uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th April, 1802. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the said Henry sancler has resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said (demy Sander having declared oath, that he would on support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sove- reignty whatever, and particularly to bictoria Incen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was, therefore, considered by the Court, that Henvy Sandu be, and hereby is accordingly admitted to become a citizen of the UNITED STATES. clean
