me it Remembered, That on the 24 day Cail of march Stude" in the

Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty

in said County of New London, appeared in
open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a
Clerk and Seal,) and to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the
said
then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the
declaration of intention made by him before the
Cuperion Kanhafter
big of clanding an the

as on file, and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress
entitled "An Act to establish a uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore
passed
And it on appearing that subject." the Approved satisfaction 14th of the April, Court 1802. that the said bail

has resided within the United States five years at least, and
in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as
a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United
States, and well to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said
having declared on oath, that he would support
the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely
renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sove-
reignty whatever, and particularly to
Duke of Hardeck
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject.

therefore, considered by the Court, that
