M then mas. ever pruce has been kill is finafide this sulention to be ceme a believer of the United Skates KC as on file, and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled " An Act to establish a uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretoforé passed on that subject." Approved 14th April, 1802. Sincere And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the said Ahia has resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man, of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness having declared of the same. oath, And that the he said would on support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely, and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Potentate, State or Sove- reignty whatever, and particularly to Pectine, Leven of that and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was, therefore, considered by the Court, be, and hereby is accordingly admitted to become a citizen of the UNITED STATES.
