P. wales JUDGE. me it Remembered, That the q day of September in the year of our on Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty- hixJohn m Ginnis of minimum in said County of New London, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. Approved 14th April, 1802. And to the satisfaction it appearing of the Court that the said John me yinnis has resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said John me quinn having declared on oath, that he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sove- reignty whatever, and particularly to victina mean of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject.
