Ehinner Compensor JUDGE. 12 me it Remembered, That on the day of april in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty 62 mishael Cemell of minim in said County of New London, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal,) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said mrhaccamcl then exhibited to the Court Certificate of a the declaration of intention made by him bofore there & this court that he came Ditte minutes Staty while he was a minu miller the age of 18 year - that A then was the since has been still is bena fine his intention Dherm a cities the miner Alaly as on file, and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish a uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th Aprik 1802. And it appearing the satisfactión of the Court that the said moined to ainiu has resided within the United States five years at least, and in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said michael annell having declared oath, that on he would support the CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sove- reignty whatever, and particularly to bictoria queen 7 of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was, therefore, considered by the Court, that menaue cimmer be, and hereby is accordingly admitted to become a citizen of the UNITED STATES. am
