September 1862 892 At a Superior Caust holden at New bondar in and the for County of New London, in the State of Connecticut, on the 2 Tuesday of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty- 64 - PRESENT-Hon. Elechal Compenter JUDGE. me it Remembered, That on the 20 day of October in the year of our Lord Amarch one thousand eight hundred and fifty bet John Rilehi of in said County of New London, appeared in open Court, (the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seak) and applied to be admitted to become a citizen of the United States. And the said John Relehie then exhibited to the Court a Certificate of the declaration of intention made by him before the pund to chicalifation of ch Eaut chak he can to the United Frale while he was a mumon muder che agest 18 years, that it chen was ever Accee has hew and still is binefili his minutes to beenu a Cologen f che United Plates as on file, and required as the first condition according to the first section of the Act of Congress entitled "An Act to establish a uniform rule of Naturalization, and to repeal the acts heretofore passed on that subject." Approved 14th April, 1802. And it appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that the said Rilehie has resided within the United States five years at least, and John in the State of Connecticut one year at least, and that during said five years he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. And the said the CONSTITUTION Rilehie having declared on oath, that he would support OF THE UNITED STATES, and that he did absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sove- reignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he was before a subject. It was, therefore, considered by the Court, that John Althi be, and hereby is accordingly admitted to become a citizen of the UNITED STATES.
