Superior Court, holden at Brooklyn, in and for the County of Windham, Funder tixwer X Revers now resident at Wordshipt in said County, respectfully represents that he was born in Samil bus Sower Canuelee in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, l on or about the 22 December A. D., 182> and is now about 42 years of age ; and that he arrived at Noresta A. D., 18 45 that it was then and still is bona fide his interrion to become a citizen of the United States of America, laberg the was 184tm on or about the 22cc day of much and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever, and partic- ularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, whose subject he has heretofore been ; all of which appears on the record of the honorable Court, holden at in and for the County and of that he occure on the tother United steileswoll Are was Winorcunder the age of Eighteen Tuosdsy years A D. & -cortifiod copy of which record is herewith exhibited. Famneis And the said Graver It tiners further represents, that he has ever since continued within the jurisdiction of the United States ; that he hath never borne any hereditory title, or been of any of the orders of nobility ; that he is ready to renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. whose subject he has heretofore been ; that he is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States of America, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. Whereupon he prays that he may be admitted to become a citizen of the United States of America, according to the forms of the Statute in such cases made and provided. And as in duty bound will ever pray. Dated at Bavikluu this 1st day Septenter p1869 dirand to Runs I do solemnly swear that I will support the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES, and that I hereby re- nounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatever, particularly to Vietoria-Queen, of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. So help me God.
