State of Connestiout, Country of Windham, SS. it That Andrew Award of in the County of Windham, but late of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Sweelen appeared before the clerk of the Superior Court for said County of Windham, at Preluence in said County, on the 27% day of Olover in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law juris- diction, and a Clerk and Seal, and declared on oath before said Court, that it was bona fide his intention to be- come a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatsoever, and particularly to Viotoria Queen of the Unitod Kingdom of Groat Britain and Ireland. Osca 2 Kay of sweeler STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF WINDHAM, SS. I, Samuel H. Seward, Clerk of the Superior Court for said County of Windham, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of Record.
