UNITED STATES OF AMERICA State of Connestiout, Gounty of Cindham, SS. Be it Remembered That Alexander Viens of Brooklyn An the County of Windham, but late of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, appeared before the clerk of the Superior Court for said County of Windham, at Putneur in said County, on the 28, day of Oct in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eight quality tur the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law juris- diction, and a Clerk and Seal, and declared on oath before said Court, that it was bona fide his intention to be- come a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatsoever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland STATE OF CONNECTICUT, COUNTY OF WINDHAM, ss. I, Samuel H. Seward, Clerk of the Superior Court for said County of Windham, do hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of Record. Given under my hand and seal of office, this 2n day of Och in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and minety two damue Holewand Clerk.
