in the County of Windham, but late of the United Kingdom of
Great Britain and Ireland,
appeared Superior County of Windham, at
before the clerk of the Court for said Hindhan in
said
County, on the 26th
day of Delober
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and' eighty minitorous
the said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law juris-
diction, and a Clerk and Seal and declared on oath before said Court, that it was bona fide his intention to be-
come a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince,
Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatsoever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of
Great Britain and Ireland
