To thje sion. Superior Court, holden Brooklyn, in and for the County of at Windham, Michael borely now resident at Willingly in said County, respectfully represents County Galway that he was born in drilers in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, on or about the trietother day appearancy of A. D., 1849 and is now about 23 years of age and that he arrived at New york in the A. on or about the 3th day of (uequet D., 1865 that it was then and still is bona fide his intention to become a eitizen of the United States of America, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever, and particularly to Vic- toria, Queen of the United King fom of Great Britain and Ireland, whose subject he has heretofore been ; aH of which appears on the record of the honorable Court, holden at in and for the County of on the Mathe arrived inthe write states where under the age of eighteen years less was of thingfor sixtein years Tuesday of A.H. a certified copy of which rocord is herewith exhibited. And the said Michael lonely further represents, that he has ever since continued within the jurisdiction of the United States ; that he hath never borne any hereditary title, or been of any of the orders of nobility ; that he is ready to announce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Vietoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, whose subject he has heretofore been that he is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States of America, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. W hereupon he prays that he may be admitted to become a citizen of the United States of America, according to the forms of the Statute in such cases made and provided. And as in duty bound will ever pray. Dated at Brookly 11th may of March A. D., 1872. Michael Corely I do solemnly swear that I will support the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES, and that I hereby renompe and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatever, particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. So help me God.
