Court of the United States of America for said District, personally appeared

of Plainfield
in said District, who was born in
England,
aged
bout 38 years, and on oath did declare, that it was bona fide his intention
) become a CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all alle-
lance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State, and Sovereignty,
whatever-and
particularly to Victoria, of the
United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,
of whom he is now a subject.
IN TESTIMONY
WHEREOF, I, alped Blackman, Clerk of said Court, have here-
unto set my hand and seal of said Court, this day and year aforesaid.
