So the sion. Superior Court, holden at Brooklyn, in and for the County of Windhau, Alexander Bebillne pow resident at Putnam let in said County, respectfully represents that he was born in banada in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, on or about the Second day of November A. D., 18 48 and is now about 22 years of age; and that he arrived at Putnam A. D., 51 on or about the 4th day of Roberny to [8 that it was thenrand still is hona fide his intention to becomè a citizen of the United States of America( and renounce all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty, whatever, and particularly to Vic- toria, Queen of the United King lom of Great Britain and Ireland, whose subject he has heretofore been ; all of which appears on the record of the honorable Court, holden at in and for tho Gounty of level that became on the to the llanited Stales whilshewere aminounder thenge of 18 years Tuesday of A.D., a certified copy of which record is And the said Alexander Bebdgand further represents, that he has ever since continued within the jurisdiction of the United States that he hath never borne any hereditary title, or been of any of the orders of nobility ; that he is ready to anpounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State or Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, whose subject he has heretofore been ; that he is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States of America, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. Whereupon he prays that he may be admitted to become a citizen of the United States of America, according to the forms of the Statute in such cases matle and provided. And as in duty bound will ever pray. Dated at Mooklyn this 11th day of march A.D.,18%0 I do solemnly swear that I will support the CONSTITUTION of the UNITED STATES, and that I hereby renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty whatever, particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland.
