That he has residya in the United States three years nex) preceding his aviving /at the age of twenty-one y ars, which occurted on the day of A. D. ys nd has conmuned to reside therem to the present time and that for three years pex) preceding it has boen his bona fide intention to become a citizen of the United States That he has resided during the last five years constantly in the United States (including the three years of his minority,) and during the last year in the State of Con- necticut. That he has behaved during said five years as a man of good moral character. attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. Whereupon he prays your Honor to take his case into consideration, and on finding the aforesaid allegations true, to admit him to be a citizen of the United States, according to the Acts of Congress in such case provided.
