BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the

in said year,

in said county, appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdietion, a Clerk and a Seal,
and made application to said Court, to become a citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to ap-
pear, and this Court having found to their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a free male person of lawful age, an alien, and a
subject of Vietoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland; William, Emperor of Germany; Humbert, King
officily; Alexinder, Emperor of Oscar King of Sweden and Norway; Loopold, King of Belgium; Christian, King of Denmark;

in said Kingdom; that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Con-
neetient for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral
character, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happi-
ness of the same, It also appearing to this Court, that said applicant did, pursuant to the laws of the United States, appear before

Victoria, Streen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Willinm, Emporor of Germany; Humbert, King of Italy;
Alexander, Emperor of Hussia; Oscar, King of Sweden and Norway: Leopold, King of Belgium; Christion, King of Denmark;

as by the Record of said Court appears. And the said applicant now here in this Court, declares on oath, that he doth absolutely

entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever,
