in said county, appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdietion, a Clerk and a Seal,
and made application to said Court, to become a citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to ap-
pear, and this Court having found to their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a free male person of lawful age, an alien, and a
subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland; William. Emporor of Gormany; Humbert, King

that he is now of the age of

ness of the same, It also appearing to this Court, that said applicant did, pursuant to the laws of the United States, appear before

Alexander, Emperor of Russia; Oscar, King of Sweden and Norway; Leopold, King of Beigium; Christian, King of Denmark;
as by the Record of said Court appears. And the said applicant now here in this Court, declares on oath, that he doth absolutely
and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever,
and particularly to Vietoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and treland; William, Emperor of Germany; Himm-
bert, King of Italy; Alexander, Emperor of Russia; Osonry King of Sweden anit Norway; teopold, King of Belgium; Christian, King
of Denmark;
of whom he is now a subject; and he also declares on oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of America.
Wherefore, the said applicant is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared to be a citizen of the United States of
