BY OCCUPATION A Boiler-maker being duly sworn, deposes and says, that he resides at /// saltonstall am John molley State of Connecticut, and is by occupation a lrow worker that he is new Haven Street, personally in acquainted with that the his above-named occupation is applicant that of Boiler for admission maker to citizenship of and the that said he United resides States, at No. and 3 has 8 known Exchange him for the past 5 years; Street, under the in jurisdiction of the United States of America since 1899 September and that during the said time 1898 of his and residence continuously within the within United the new Haren that he personally knows that the applicant has resided continuously within the limits and State of Connecticut since State, june he has behaved as a man of good moral character, attached to the he principles knows, is of informed the Constitution of the States and within and well the disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. D. and that he now resides at No. 328 Exchange Street, in the kity of new Harm that he has arrived at the age of twenty one years ; that he has resided continuously within the United States since September 22 1898 and continuously within the State of Connecticut since June 15 th 1899 and that said applicant did before a Clerk of a Court of Common Law jurisdiction named in the said act of April 14, 1802, two years prior hereto declare his intention to become a citizen of the United States and renounce and abjure all allegiance to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereiguty whatsoever, etc., as appears by the certificate of the Clerk of said Court, here produced, and said applicant says he is the identical person named therein. Applicant further deposes and says: that he does not disbelieve in nor is he opposed to all organized government, nor is he a member of or affiliated with any organization entertaining or teaching such disbelief in or opposition to all organized government, nor does he advocate or teach the duty, necessity or propriety of the unlawful assaulting or killing of any officer or officers, either of specific individuals or of officers generally, of the Government of the United States or of any other organized govern- ment, because of his or their official character, nor has he violated any of the provisions of the Act of Congress entitled " An Act to Regulate the Immigration of Aliens into the United States," approved March 3, 1903. At a Stated Term of the Court of Common Pleas, held in and for the County of New Haven, at the Court House in the City of New Haven, on the 17th day of July one thousand nine hundred and form Aresent -The Honorable James Bishop JUDGE IN THE MATTER OF APPLICATION of Elijah Williams To be admitted a Citizen of the United States of America. The above-named applicant having applied to be admitted a Citizen of the United States pursuant to the directions of the Act of Congress of the United States, entitled An Act to Establish an Uniform Rule of Naturalization," etc., passed April 14, 1802, and the Acts subsequently passed on that subject, and to the directions of the Act of Congress entitled " An Act to Regulate the Immigration of Aliens into the United States," approved March 3, 1903, and appearing personally in Court, producing such evidence and affidavits and making such declarations and renunciations, and taking such oaths as are by the said Acts required, and it appearing to the Court that the said affidavits of the applicant and his witness were duly made and recorded, it is Ordered by the said Court that the said applicant be admitted to be a Citizen of the United States of America.
