Upon the Prtition of Johour Holland of the Town & bounty of New Haren antalian, hew ing, that he was born in the County Instaline of bhester in England and is by birth a but ject of the thing of the united thing forms of Great Britain & beland, that he came from England to New York in the year 1793, & from New York to New Haven in the year 1797, & that kene the year 1797 he has constantly wided in said New Haven within the jurisdiction of the United States, and praping to be admitted as citizen of the United States; And the laid John S.Holland having decla. red on oath, that he doth absolutely is entirely renouns & abjure all all degramer, & fisel tity to every foreign prime, polentary state, on covereignity, whatever, and particularly all allegian & facility to George the third thing of the United thinson of Great frit am & Euland, and that he will support the bonstitution of the United States; and A appearing to this beurt, that the Politioner has behave as a man punciples of the lonstitution of the United of ou good moral character, is attached to the States, & well disposed to the good order & happing of the came; and it appearing
