D. 1848.\n2d\nday of November in said year\nJohanes IT REMEMBERED, n Dahl That on of the New Varien in said Country a\nBE\nbefore said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, Cierk and a Seal, and made\nand this Court having found to their satisfaction that the said Rohanes W fahl\napplication appeared to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being is a made free white to appear, male\nperson of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom-of Great Britain and Ireland,\nChristian 8th King of D unmark\nborn in sft Croix\nin said\nthat he is now of the age of\nyears, that he was\nthat he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-\nKingdom, eut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good order moral and\ncharacter, this Court that said ohanes W Iahl\nand is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good\ndid, pursuant\nhappin 10 the tastroof SS of the the same. United It States, also appearing appear before to arrive m the United Stary of american\nreside there thence hilticret , and he now here on oath declares that\nbefore attaining to the age of 18 years and that he has continued to\nfor three years last past it has been and now is\non the\nday of\nA.D.18\nHowave being a Count of Record with Indisidention Clerk and a Seat and on Oath did declare\nthut itwas bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever\nto foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Vietoria, Queen of the United Kingdom\nevery Ireland, christian 8th King of Demark\nAnd the said Dihanes W. Dahl\nnow here\nas by the Records of said Court appear.\nin this Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every\nfor-\neign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritein-and Treland,\nof whom he is now a subject, and/he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer-\nica. Wherefore the said Bohanes W Dahl\nis hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared\nto be a Citizen of the United States of America.\nSTATE OS CONNICTIOUT,\n}\nss.\nCOUNTY OF NEW haven:\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on, the the 14th\nday of October\nA. D. 184 8\nbefore the me Herrey a failerk Court, within and for said County, having Common Law Jurisdiction, with a Clerk and\nSuperior\na\nSeal, personally appeared, Alex under mc Nel\nof Waterbury\nin said County, who was born in scottand\naged about\n27\nyears, and on Oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a\nOINIZIN OF THE 0 NITED STATES and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign\nPrince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject.\nIn\nTestimony Whereof, I, Henry Ch.
