D. 1849.\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the\n6th\nday of November in said\nyear\n16 any Sanjon of Cheshire m said County\nappeared said Coun, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made\napplication to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to appear,\nand this Court having found to their satisfaction that the said\nperson of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the Unite Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,\n16 any Ianyon\nis a free white male\nthat he is now of the age of\n36\nyears, that he was born in\nEns land\nin said\nKingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-\ncut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral\ncharacter, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and\nhappin of the It also appearing 16\nSS same. to this Court that said\ndid, pursuant\nto the laws of the\nUnited States, appear before the Robert 16 eng. Clerk of the\nSuperior\nCourt within and for New u cover County\non the\n5th\nday of\nMarch\nA. D. 18 47. the same being a Court of Record with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on Oath did declare\nthat it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever\nto every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom\nof Great Britain and Ireland,\nas by the Records of said And the said 16 my Sanyon\nnow here\nin this Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely rewounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every for-\neign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\n)\nof whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer-\nica. Wherefore the said U any Sauyon\nis hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared\nto be a Citizen of the United States of America.\nSTATE 05 CONNECTIOUT, D\nss.\nCOUNTY OF NEW HAVEN:\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the\n234\nday of\nJune\nbefore the me Henry Lewish Court. within and for said County, having Common Law Jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a\nclerk the County\nA.
