D. 18/0 .\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the\n30th\nday\nof March\nin said year\nScopold Waterman of New leaver in said Country\nappeared before said Oburt, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made\napplication to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States And upon examination first had, it being made to appear,\nand found to that the said\nthis Court having their satisfaction Scopold W aterman is a\nfree white male\nperson\nof\nlawful age, an alien and a subject of Vietorio, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,\nthe King of Bavaria\nthat he of the age of 27\nis now\nyears, that he was born in\nBavaria\nin said\nKingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-\ncut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral\ncharacter, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and\nhappiness of the It also appearing this Court that said all Scofold Waterman did,\nsame. to\npursuant\nto the laws of the United States, appear before the\nCounty\nCourt within and for New Woven Counts\non the\n4th\nday of\napril\nA. D. 1846 the same being a Court of Record with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on Oath did declare\nthat it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever\nto every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Vietoria, Queen of the United Kingdom\nof-Great\nthe thing of Bavaria\nas by the Records of said Court appear. And the said\nScopold Waterman\nnow here\nin this Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every for-\neign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nthe King of Bavaria\nof whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer-\nica. Wherefore\nthe said Sropold Waterman\nis hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared\nto be a Citizen of the United States of America.\nSTATE OF CONNICTIOUT, D\nss.\nCOUNTY OF NEW HAVEN:\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That qn 27th\n(Clerk they County\nday\nof November\nA. D. 184\nbefore personally the me Uemy appeared, 4.
