D.\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the\n20\nday of April\nin said year John\ndeally enliew take daire Comming\nappeared béfore said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made\napplication to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to appear,\nand this Court having found to their satisfaction that the said\nfortune Healy\nis a free white male\nperson of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,\nthat he is now of the age of\n26\nyears, that he was born in Ireland\nin said\nKingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-\ncut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral\ncharacter, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and\nhappiness laws of of the the same. United It States, also appearing appear before to this the Court that said fusting dealt\ndid, pursuant\nto the\nCharles & Glorkof\nthe District Count of the luisted Hales of America\nCourt within and for the\non the\n19\nday of march\nA. D. 18 4% the same being a Court of Record with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on Oath did declare\nthat it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever\nto every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom\nof Great Britain and Ireland,\nas\nthis by the Records of said Court appear. And the said John Harkly\nnow here\nin Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all alegiance and fidelity to every for-\neign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject, and h also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer-\nica. be Wherefore Citizen of the the United said follow States of America. Heally\nis hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared\nto a\nSTATE OF CONNECTIOUT\nss.\nCOUNTY OF NEW HAVEN:\nBE IT REMEMBERED, Thatgen the\n1st\nClerk the Country\nday of July\nA. D. 18450\nbefore the me u my\nG and for said County, having Common Law Jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a\nSeal, personally appeared,\nof New 16 aven\nMichael Synch\nin said County, who was born in\nPrelained\naged about\n40\nyears, and on Oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a\nOITIZIEN OF THIS UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign\nPrince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject.\nIn Testimony Whereof, I,\nUrmy 11 Denis\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand and the Seal of said Court, the day and year aforosaid.\nMeny h Davis\nClerk."
