BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the day of April in grady Philosophy me sacd Country said year John appeared before sald Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made application to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to appear, and this of Court lawful having age, an found alien to and their a satisfaction subject of Victoria, that the said Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and is a Ireland, free white male person that he is now of the age of 21 years, that he was born in Ireland in said Kingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti- cut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral happiness of the same. It also appearing to this Court that said John O Gaady did, character, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and pursuant to the United appear tawe of the Stot before the carrised in The Minitecultates, America before attaining to the age eleighteen years and has continued to bide thelein thence kidhote and past it has and now is he now here get oath declared that for three years last on the day of A.D.18 the being Court of Record with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on Oath did declare that bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, as by the Records of said Court appear. And the said John I Grady now here in this Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allégiance and fidelity to every for- eign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer- ica. Wherefore the said John D. Grady is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared to be a Citizen of the United States of America. STATK OF CONNECTIOUT, COUNTY OF NEW HAVEN: } ss. BE IT REMEMBERED, That qn the day of noncember A. D. 1850. before theme Court, within and for said County, having Common Law Jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a Seal, personally appeared, Patrick Monnahar of Deeby in said County, who was born in Ireland aged about HO years, and on Oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a OIFIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject.
