D.\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the\nday of April\nin\ngrady Philosophy me sacd Country\nsaid year John\nappeared before sald Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made\napplication to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to appear,\nand this of Court lawful having age, an found alien to and their a satisfaction subject of Victoria, that the said Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and is a Ireland, free\nwhite male\nperson\nthat he is now of the age of\n21\nyears, that he was born in Ireland\nin said\nKingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-\ncut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral\nhappiness of the same. It also appearing to this Court that said John O Gaady did,\ncharacter, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and\npursuant\nto the United appear\ntawe of the Stot before the carrised in The Minitecultates,\nAmerica before attaining to the age eleighteen years\nand has continued to bide thelein thence kidhote and\npast it has and now is\nhe now here get oath declared that for three years last\non the\nday of\nA.D.18\nthe being Court of Record with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on Oath did declare\nthat bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever\nto every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom\nof Great Britain and Ireland,\nas\nby the Records of said Court appear. And the said John I Grady\nnow here\nin this Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allégiance and fidelity to every for-\neign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer-\nica. Wherefore the said John D. Grady\nis hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared\nto be a Citizen of the United States of America.\nSTATK OF CONNECTIOUT,\nCOUNTY OF NEW HAVEN:\n}\nss.\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That qn the\nday of noncember\nA. D. 1850.\nbefore theme\nCourt, within and for said County, having Common Law Jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a\nSeal, personally appeared,\nPatrick Monnahar\nof Deeby\nin said County, who was born in Ireland\naged about\nHO\nyears, and on Oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a\nOIFIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign\nPrince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject.\nIn Testimony Whereof, I,\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand and the Seal of said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\nRobert96.Ostown\nClerk."
