D. 1852,\nHon Hassiv to\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 28th day of October in said year Frederick\nin said\nappeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made\napplication to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States And upon examination first had, it being made to appear,\nand this Court having found to their satisfaction that the said grederick Winsocises is\na free white male\nperson of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Vietoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,\nCharles Gredevick ground\nthat he is now of the age of\n27\nyears, that he was born in Baden\nin said\nKingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-\neut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral\ncharacter, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and\nhappiness of the same. It also appearing to this Court that said Fredrick Windwises did, pursuant\nto the laws of the United States, appear before the supperior\nCourt within and for the Comery of\nou the\nday of Devember\nA. D. 18/14, the same being a Court of Record with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on Oath did declare\nthat it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever\nto every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom\nfGreat Britainandiretand,\ndeepold Graund bulke of Badan\nas by the Records of said Court appear. And the said Azedenick Winswitser\nnow here\nin this Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every for-\neign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Vietoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland.\nCharles Fredrick Grand\nof whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of\nica.\nWherefore the said is Amer-\nhereby, by this Court, admitted and declared\nto be a Citizen of the United States of America.\nSTATK OF CONNECTIOUT\nCOUNTY OF NEW HAVEN:\nss.\nBE IT REMEMBERED. That on the\nbefore the\nday of April\nA. D. 1851\n.\nCourt, within and for said County, having Common Law Jurisdiction, with a Clerk and\nSeal, personally\nof Dreeae\nappeared; Y their Rogers\na\nin said County, who was born in Ireland\naged about\n27\nyears, and on Oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a\nOITIZIEN OF THIS UNITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign\nPrince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever-and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject.\nIn Testimony Whereof, I, Hkl Clerk of said Court, have\nhand and the Seal of said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\nhereunto set my\nRobarty s been Clerk."
