    "ocrText": "6.4\nUnited States of Amerita, state of Connectiout,\nAt a County\nCourt, holden in and for the County of New Haven, on the 3d\nTues day of Mearch\nA. D. 1848.\nBE IT REMEMBERED. That on the 23d\nday of March\nin said year\nappeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made\nJohn Casedy of Moriden m said County\napplication to said Court to become a Citizen of the United States/ And upon examination first had, it being made to appear,\nand this Court having that the said John Carredy\nis a free white male\nfound to their satisfaction\nperson of lawful age, an alien and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,\n31\nyears, that he was\nborn in Preland\nin said\nthat he is now of the age of\nKingdom, that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecti-\ncut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral\ncharacter, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and\nhappin SS of the same. It also appearing to this Court that said John Casedy\ndid, pursuant\nto the laws of the United States, appear before the\nSuperin\nCourt within and for the County of M iddlessy the 4th Jues day of Ibusay\non\nA. D. 18 13, the same being a Court of Record with Common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on Oath did declare\nthat it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever\nto every foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom\nof Great Britain and Ireland,\nas by the Records of said Court appear. And the said\nJohn Casedy\nnow here\nin this Court declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every for-\neign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great\nBritain and Ireland,\nof whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of Amer-\nica. Wherefore\nthe said John Casedly\nis hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared\nto be a Citizen of the United States of America.\nSTATES OF CONNECTIOUT\nss.\nCOUNTY OF NEW HAVEN:\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That the Tonth\non\nday of Ostober\nA. D. 184\nbefore the S. beceiber blestoffer Court, within and for said County, having Common Law Jurisdiction, with a Clerk and a\nSeal,\npersonally appeared, Secois Wiener\nof new Haven\nin was\nsaid County, who born in Poland\naged about\n42\nyears, and on Oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a\nOINIZIEN OF THE U JITED STATES, and to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every foreign\nPrince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever-and particularly to Vieteria, Queen of the United Kingelons of Groat\nBrétain and kteland, Frederick William thing of Prussia\nof whom he is now a subject.\nIn Testimony Whereof, I, R.M. Osborn\nClerk of said Court, have hereunto set my\nhand and the Seal of said Court, the day and year aforesaid.\nClerk."
