States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. It also appearing to this Court, that said applicant arrived in the United States of America be.
fore attaining to the age of eighteen years, and that he has continued to reside therein thence hitherto,-and he now here on oath declares, that for three years last pastit
has been, and now is bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever to every Foreign Prince, Poten-
tate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. And the said applicant now here in this Court, declares on Oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce
and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreigu Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United
States of America.
Wherefcie, the said applicant is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared, to be a citizen of the United States of America.
