and made application to said Court, to become a citizen of the United States: And upon examination first had, it being made to appear, and this Court having found to
their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a free white male person of lawful age, an alien, and a subject of Victoria, Queen
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, that he is now of the age of 21 years; that he was born in
