D. 187 8 BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 28 day of October in said year, Otto Hirts of husbaven in said county, appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made application to said Court, to become a citizen of the United States : And upon examina- tion first had, it being made to appear, and this Court having found to their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a free white male person of lawful age, an alien, and a subject of Victoria, Queen of Sermany of the trited Kingdom of Great Britnin and truland, that he is now of the age of 32 years';;that_he was born in Prusia in said that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecticut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral character, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. It also appearing to this Court, that said applicant did, pursuant to the laws of the United States, appear before the bluk the City Court within 25th and for of the october city on the day A. D. 1876, the same being a Court of Record, with common Law Juris- diction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sover- eignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen William Emprior of Sermany of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ircland, las by the Record of said Court appears.
