D. 1878\nBE IT REMEMBERED, That on the\n28th\nday Gectoher\nin said year,\nin said county, appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with common Jurisdiction, a\nClerk and a Seal, and made application to said Court, to become a citizen examina-\nJohn ull Fishey of hundoven of the United States: And Law upon\ntion first had, it being made to appear, and this Court having found to their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a\nfree white male person of lawful age, an alien, and a subject of Victoria, Queen\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, that he is now of the age of 31\nyears that he was\nborn in\nswand\nin said Kingdom ; that he has resided in the United States\nconstantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecticut for more than one year last past, and\nthat he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral character, and is attached to the\nprinciples of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same.\nIt also appearing to this Court, that said applicant did, pursuant to the laws of the United States, appear before the\non the withip 26th and for the ente\nblug actu buts\nCourt\nday of attrick A. D. 1870 the same being a Court of Record with common Law Juris-\ndiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the\nUnited States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sover-\neignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, as by the Record of said Court appears. And the said appli-\ncant now here in this Court, declares on oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance\nand fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen\nof the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath,\nthat he will support the Constitution of the United States of America.\nWherefore the said applicant is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared, to be a citizen of the United\nStates of America.\nilnited States of America, State of Connectiqut, ss.\nAt a Superior Court, holden in and for the County of New Haven, on the becard\nTuesday of September A.\nD. 187°8'\nBE IT remembered, That on the\n28th\nday of actor\nin said year,\nluchae Hessler Darmstant\nof\nhulfoven\nin Clerk said and county, appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with common Law .
