6 Winited States of America, State of Cornectiqut, 83. At a Superior Court, holden in and for the County of New Haven, on the First 0 Tuesday of March A. D. 1872 BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the 18th day of March in said year, Frederich P.C.chwoob of New Haven in said county, appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with common Law Jurisdiction, a Clerk and a Seal, and made application to said Court, to become a citizen of the United States : And upon examina- first had, it being made to appear, and this Court having found to their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a free tion white male person of lawful age, an alien, and a subject of Victoria, Quoon The thing of Baravia of the United Kingdom of Great Britain that he is now of the age of 49 years.; that he was born in Bavaria in said Kingdom ; that he has resided in the United States constantly for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecticut for more than one year last past, and that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral character, and is attached to the principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the same. It also appearing to this Court, that said applicant did, pursuant to the laws of the United States, appear before the Blech ofthe upsited States Court within and for the on the 7th day of March A. D. 1967 , the same being a Court of Record with common Law Juris- diction, a Clerk and a Seal, and on oath did declare that it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sover- eignty whatever, and particularly to Vietoria, Queen The bing fthe United Kingdom of Great Britein end Treland, as by the Record of said Court appears. And the said appli- cant now here in this Court, declares on oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Vietoria, Queen oftho United Kingdom of Great Britainand Ireland of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of America.
