420 United States of Emerica, State of Connectiqut, Sõ. At a Superior Court, holden in and for the County of New Haven, on the fomin Tuesday of September A. D. 1884 220 day of Goton in said year, BE IT RÉMEMBERED, That on the Michael Doyle befbre said Court, the same being a Court of of Record, with common And Law Jurisdiction, a in said county, appeared and made application to said Court, to become a citizen of the United States: the said upon applicant examina- is a Clerk tion first and had, a Seal, it being made to appear, and this Court having found to their satisfaction, that free white male person of lawful age, an alien, and a subject of Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, that he is now of the age of 27 years that he was in said Kingdom that he has resided in the United States born constantly that he has during all said time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral character, and is of the to the in for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecticut for more than one year attached last past, and principles of the Constitution of the United States, and well disposed to the good order and happiness before same. It also appearing to this Court, that said applicant did, pursuant to the laws of the United States, appear the bright Inferior on diction, the 5in a Clerk day and a Seal, and on oath did declare that it was bona tide his intention to become a citizen Sover- of the Court within and for of A. D. 18.60 the same being a Court of Record with common Law Juris- United States, and to renounce all allegiance and fidelity forever to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and eignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, as by the Record of said Court appears. And the said appli- cant now here in this Court, declares on oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath, that he will support the Constitution of the United States of America. Wherefore the said applicant is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared, to be a citizen of the United States of America. States of America, State off Connecticut, 88.
