in said county Appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with common Law Jurisdiction, a
Clerk and a Seal, and made application to said Court, to become a citizen of the United States: And upon examina-
tion first had, it being made to appear, and this Court having found to their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a
free white male person of lawful age, an alien, and a subject of Victoria, Queen
of the Unit Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, that he is now of the age of

of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, as by the Record of said Court appears. And the said appli-
cant now here in this Court, declares on oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance
and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen

the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath,
that he will support the Constitution of the United States of America.
Wherefore the said applicant is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared, to be a citizen of the United
States of America.
