BE IT REMEMBERED, That on the

in said county, appeared before said Court, the same being a Court of Record, with common Law Jurisdiction, a

Clerk and a Seal, and made application to sail Court, to become a citizen of the United States: And upon examina-
tion first had, it being made to appear, and tMs Court having found to their satisfaction, that the said applicant is a
free white male person of lawful age, an alien, and a subject of Victoria, Queen
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, that he is now of the age of 33
years that he was

constantly in Kingdom ; than resided in the last United past, States and the

for more than five years last past, and in said State of Connecticut for more one year
that he has during all time behaved himself as a good citizen, has a good moral character, and is attached to

of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, as by the Record of said Court appears. And the said appli-
cant now here in this Court, declares on oath, that he doth absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance
and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State and Sovereignty whatever, and particularly to Victoria, Queen
of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, of whom he is now a subject, and he also declares on Oath,
that he will support the Constitution of the United States of America.
Wherefore the said applicant is hereby, by this Court, admitted and declared, to be a citizen of the United
States of America.
