above named applicant, and that the said applicant has resided
within the Usinited States for the continuous term of ten
years immediately preceding the find day of Oct. 1880
and in the State of Connecticut for the term of ten years
immediately preceding the feart day of Oct 1sto.
and that during that time he behaved as a man of good moral
character, attached to the principles of the Constitution of the
United States, and well disposed to the good oider and happi
