of Be it Pristing Remembered, That John in the County of Gay New
but late of the
Kingdom
of Such Biran and Inland
appeared before the Superior Court
in and for said County of New London, at Vorwich,
in said County, on the

The said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction and a Clerk and Seal,
and declared on Oath that it was bona fide his intention to become a Citizen of the United States, and
to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty
whatgver, and particularly to the Government of Virtnera Eemin of
and inland
