of mu cardin
in the County of Vew London,
but late of the
Kingdom
of Nancey and Andern
appeared before the Superior Court
in and for said County of New London, at Vorwich, in said County, on the
15th - day of Drtom
1. 1.788 1890
The said Court being a Court of Record, having Common Law Jurisdiction and a Clerk and Seal,
and declared on Oath that it was bona fide his intention to become a Citizen of the United States, and
to renounce forever all allegiance and fidelity to every Foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty
whatever, and particularly to the Government of bean II King of
Nancy and Surslin
