in the State of Connecticut, on the twenty fifth day of october
in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety-
PRESENT-HON. John G. bump, JUDGE.
it remembered, That Thomas 1 tayes
of Turkondon
in the County of New London, but late of the
Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland,
appeared
before the Court of Common Pleas for said County of New London, at Norvich, New London,
in said County, on the twenty fifth day of debable in
the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hurdred and ninety-
, the said Court being a Court
of Record, having common Law Jurisdiction, and a Clerk and Seal, and declared on oath that
it was bona fide his intention to become a citizen of the United States, and to renounce forever
all allegiance and fidelity to any Foreign Prince, Potentate, State, or Sovereignty, whatever,
and particularly to the Government of Victoria, Queen of Great Britain and Ireland,
State of Connecticut, County of New London, ss.
