being duly sworn, say that he is
well acquainted with the
above named applicant, and that the said applicant has resided
within the United Piates for the continuous term of 20
years immediately preceding the of 1885
and in the Ptate of Connectiont for the term of

immediately preceding the 2340 day of Oct
1885
and that during that time he behaved as a man of good moral
character, attached to the princibles of the Constitution of the United
Piates, and well disposed to the good order and happiness of the
same.
And the said deponent further say , that the said applicant
came to the United Piates while he was a minor, under the age of
18 years, and that he is now more than 21 years of age.
