The Pittsburgh Pirates baseball club has struck up correspondence with the Royalton Pirates baseball club of Southern Rodesia, Africa-- sort of big brother-little brother relationship which may well be an example worthy of enulation. Various types of sports tourneys can be conducted via transoceanic cable or by letter, thus eliminating the prohibitive expense of intercontin- ental travel. We are continually getting requests for used sports nead equipment not available in the countries in which the requests originate. Maybe your school or group could pick up one of these as a project. Sports magazines are much in demand abroad. Collec- tions of them shipped to a port of embarkation will be transported beyond that point by water carriers without charge. If we can be of help to you by providing the names and addresses of contacts in other parts of the world, feel free to call on us.
