I have put considerable thought and study on the
problems involved in the school segregation cases.

I am well avare of the serious questions involved
for both the Government and your great State.
In view of the legal aspects of these cases, I
forwarded a copy of your letter to the Attorney
General early last week. I am sure that he will
be in touch with you concerning it.
