S THE WHITE HOUSE WASHINGTON May 31, 1945 friends fill to & eachs Dear Mrs. Roosevelt: Inceed I feel very much indebted to you for letting us have all that food. It was a great help. I have thought of you so often, realizing how much you must have to do in sorting out your many belongings and in the great accumula- tion which followed you from here. Even moving from an apartment seemed to bring to light any number of possessions, and I an appalled to think of what you must have faced after living for twelve years in the one place. If you plan to be in Washington at any tine I hope you will let me know so that I may see you again. It is something that I alweys look forward to. Thank you for your note and I hope that even your capable hands are not being overwhelmed with work. Sincerely Ress yours, W. Primar
