Lawson said of the Wall Stret\nprivate corporation banks and other stock manipulatings that they were\n\"the most despisable bank of pillaging pirates man's immagination has\npainted with brush ot pen, the meanest of thieves.\"\nWhen, by the issue of stock, a \"few men\" can get the money from Tom,\nDick, Harry and Lucy,-the general public, to purchase government bonds,\ncollarteral security, for our government,-congress and our presidents, all\nof them, and YOU if you sign the Glass bill and so perpuate the \"system\",\nhas, and will continue to GIVE BILLIONS of dollars of currency, to say\nnothing of MORE billions of money deposited with these banks that has\nbeen knxt invested in worthless \"securities\" and lost \"more than 25 bil-\nlions\" a newspaper item said yesterday.\nI wrote a book in 1910, that I am sending to you. I desire very much\nthat you, and Mrs Roosevelt read it together in your home. It will intro-\nduce me to you-you will know of my desire to serve my fellow-men- my\ndesire to gailWheaven and avoid the \"fire and brimstone hell\" that Jesus\nChrist tells about, \"prepared for the devil and his angels.\" I also urge\nyou ro read the25th chapter of Leviticus, where the God of the universe\ntold Moses to frame a law for the Israelites, providing that ALL debts\nMUST be canceled every fifty years. Besides what I copy here, regarding banks, Mr.\npresident, YOU have the power, that NO other president has ever had, to\nand you MUST stop, for all time, the issue, sale and gambling in private\ncorperation stocks.\nI, who for years, was often beyond the protection of law, beyond the\n\"border\", among cow-boys of the, fifty féve years age type, was so con-\nstituted, mentally that I refused to bet; would NOT tolerate either the\ngetting of givving \"something saxethxngzx for nothing, have a right to\ninsist that you, who alone of all our presidents, have been given the\nautocratic, dictatoral powers to the two things we have suggested and so\ngive us, and future histerians, the right to truthfully say that Frank-\nlin D.
